'RHOA' alum NeNe Leakes says husband Gregg is 'transitioning to the other side' amid cancer battle. 

'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star NeNe Leakes’ husband Gregg Leakes has died following a battle with colon cancer. He was 66. He is survived by his six children -- Daryl, Damian, Dexter, Denton, and Katrina, as well as his and NeNe's son, Brett. He was also a stepdad to NeNe's son, Bryson, whom she had from a previous relationship. In August, NeNe addressed patrons at The Linnethia, her lounge outside of Atlanta, Georgia, and heartbreakingly shared that Gregg was losing his battle with cancer. The ‘RHOA’ star said, ‘My husband is transitioning to the other side.’

 NeNe Leakes' significant other Gregg Leakes has passed on from colon malignant growth, Fox News has affirmed. He was 66 years of age. 

"Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes," publicist and family friend Ernest Dukes said in a statement. "We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time."

Gregg was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018.
The couple married in 1997, divorced in 2011, and then remarried in 2013. They have one son together.
NeNe, who starred on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," has yet to publicly address her husband's death. Gregg appeared on 12 seasons of the hit show alongside his wife.

    Various reports on Wednesday said Gregg went "calmly" in his home while he was encircled by his family, referring to an assertion from the marketing specialist and long-lasting family companion Ernest Dukes. 

    "Today the Leakes family is in profound agony with a messed up heart," the in memoriam from Dukes peruses, as indicated by reports. "After a long fight with malignancy, Gregg Leakes has died calmly in his home encompassed by the entirety of his youngsters, exceptionally close friends and family, and spouse Nene Leakes."
